The goal of our employee spotlight is to shed a (spot)light on the wonderful people who work at Oxygen One. Oxygen One would not be where it is today without the hard work and dedication of its employees.
This February we're shining a spotlight on our Patient Care Manager, Dan Corrie. He manages and oversees the Patient Care Department and some of the clinical staff at Oxygen One.
Dan's been with Oxygen One since 2011 and has lived in Wisconsin his whole life. He actually grew up in Johnson Creek but currently resides in Waukesha, making his morning commute a breeze. Dan's favorite thing about living in Wisconsin is the changing seasons, Summer being his favorite, and Wisconsin sports. Like most Wisconsinites, Dan is a huge Brewers, Packers, and Bucks fan.
When we asked Dan what he loved most about working at Oxygen One he said,
"I really enjoy helping our patients and building long-lasting relationships with them. Whether it's their travel plans, how to use their equipment, showing them different style masks or just talking with them about life. One of the best feelings you can get is when a patient calls to compliment you for the work you've done and to know the work you put in has made a difference for them."
Dan, along with the rest of the Patient Care department, continues to make a difference at Oxygen One by ensuring that every patient receives the best possible service with each call or visit they make to our office.
When Dan's not at work, he's spending time with his wife and two little kiddos. Every summer he looks forward to their trips to Door County and Minocqua. To keep busy during the winter months, Dan officiates basketball at various high schools and youth tournaments around Waukesha County. Dan also stays active by playing baseball, softball, and running half marathons. He's looking forward to running his first full marathon very soon.
Dan's favorite philmoji is Phunny Phil, because who doesn't like a good laugh each day?
We want to thank Dan for everything he does for our Oxygen One patients! Make sure to say hi the next time you see him.
