5 Simple Questions to Help Recognize Sleep Apnea

Sleep Apnea is a disorder that causes you to stop breathing repeatedly in your sleep. If left untreated it can pose serious health risks on your mind and body. That's why we have composed a short list of questions to help indicate if you might have sleep apnea. Remember, don't use the answers to these questions as a diagnosis, but as a tool to help you decide if you should visit your doctor to be further examined. 

 

1.  Do you snore?

3.  Are you excessively tired during the daytime?

4.  Do you wake up gasping for air or have you ever been told that you are a noisy sleeper?

5.  Do you have a neck circumference greater than 17 inches (for men), or 16 inches (for women)?
