Untreated
Sleep Apnea has many detrimental physical, psychological, and social
consequences. According to the National Highway Transportation Safety
Administration, approximately 100,000 reported crashes per year involve
drowsiness as a principle factor. Daytime drowsiness results in 1,500 fatalities
on the road each year. And, Sleep Apnea increases your risk for being in a
car accident 3 to 7 times. Many people with untreated Sleep Apnea describe
personality changes like depression, anxiety, irritability and difficulty
concentrating or remembering. Sleep Apnea also significantly increases
your risk of high blood pressure, stroke and heart problems. At Oxygen One
we are dedicated to taking care of our patients and that includes making sure
they aren’t suffering from the harmful effects of Sleep Apnea.

Our goal is to help our patients breathe better—that includes breathing at
night. We provide the most advanced sleep therapy equipment and monitoring
in Southeastern Wisconsin. We strive for 100% patient compliance and
to have all our patients receiving beneficial treatment within a few days.
With in-depth education and follow-ups, we help support you when you need it
most.
By watching the clinical effectiveness of your treatment, your compliance,
and identifying mask leaks, our Resmed ResTraxx™ wireless remote monitoring
verifies that you are receiving beneficial therapy. Within a few days of
being set-up with your positive airway pressure machine (CPAP, BiPAP, or AutoPAP),
Oxygen One will call you to see how your therapy is going. After 30-days,
our clinicians will meet with you at our office to discuss your treatment, mask
fit, and side-effects; answer any questions you may have; and to download all
available information from your first 30 days of therapy.
